Suppoment Gallery is pleased to present TRACE, the sixth solo exhibition of Yoo Soo Mi. Yoo’s paintings begin with the act of layering and erasing—an iterative process through which emotional residues and lived memories quietly settle into the surface. Fragments of color, scraped lines, and softened marks unfold not merely as painterly gestures but as sensory echoes of time.
A defining feature of her recent works is the refined orchestration of color. Against muted, neutral grounds, Yoo introduces bursts of saturated hues and translucent tonal shifts, creating a rhythmic interplay that mirrors the subtle fluctuations of emotion.
